Harry Saul Minnow Farm has and continues to be a work in progress. Started over 50 years ago, the farm has overcome many challenges and is trying to work through new challenges everyday.

Harry Saul Minnow Farm got its start from a small commercial fishing operation on the White River. Along with his brothers, Robert Treadway and Darrell Saul, Harry was able to transistion from commercial fisherman into one of the pioneers of the Arkansas baitfish industry.

Starting small with little more than a bait shop and a small minnow route Harry and Thelma worked hard and grew their business; as well as, their family.

As time passed the farm grew from just a couple ponds to one of the nicest most efficient farms in the industry. Along the way, we have always tried to invest in ways to make things better in order to provide our customers with the best products available. Whether that meant better harvest sumps, better aeration, better water use capabilities, or better loading facilities we have always taken the necessary steps to ensure the quality of our product. We strive to do things the right way, even if that way isn't always the cheapest or the quickest.

Our goal has always been to provide our customers with a high quality product at a fair and honest price. In order to accomplish this goal we are constantly looking improve the way we do business.

In the last 54 years, we have seen a lot of changes. We have seen our business evolve from trapping minnows in the White River to maximizing productivity on each of our 1500 acres. From a small bait shop to a corporation employing over 15 people. We have lost the patriarch of our business, Harry Saul, to the effects of a stroke and seen the third generation join in the day to day operation of our business. While there have been multitudes of changes, some things remain the same. We still strive to build our business on honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. We have been and will continue to strive to provide the highest quality product at the best value for our customers.
